Let’s not be serious today. I have gathered together some silly capybara-themed games for you. It’s going to be easiest if you can print them out. Otherwise, grab some recycled paper, pencils, a big eraser and let’s go!

Let’s start with a photo of Dobby being silly to set the mood.

First up is a crossword puzzle. I hid the answers way at the end of the post.

Next up is a Word Search. This one has a trick- your task is to find the RODENTS. There are a bunch of not-rodents in here. Answer key at the end of the post.

How about MadLibs? This story is based upon Dobby’s book Prince Dobalob Builds a Zeppelin. You know the drill- first write down a bunch of random words according to the list below. Scroll down to the answers to find the story where you can insert your words. Maybe your story will sound better than mine!

I picked up some Capivara cash when I was in Brazil. It was used in the farmer’s market in the little town of Silva Jardim, so worthless, or maybe priceless. It’s obsolete, now. Print these out and see if you can buy some corn on the cob with it.

Here’s a Dobby Paper Doll I made a while ago. Print out the Dobby, glue it onto cardboard, cut out the pieces, and then attach the legs and ear as shown in the photo. That’s your Dobby dolly. Next, print out the accessories, cut out the goodies (don’t cut off the tabs!) and dress up Dobby.

By now you know whether your printer works. I’m going to link back to the coloring pages I made to accompany the Zeppelin book. Even if you can’t print them out, you can save them and use your digital paintbox to color them.
